Opening a checking account at Farmers Trust and Savings Bank is simple. Please bring:

• Valid ID (driver’s license or state-issued ID)
• Proof of current address (utility bill or pay stub if ID address is outdated)
• Social Security Number
• $100 minimum deposit to open most checking accounts (Farmers Premier excluded)
• For joint checking accounts: required documents for each person

• Must be a high school student or a full-time college student
• Converts to an Advantage account after eligibility ends
• Must enroll in eStatements to avoid service fees
• Paper statements: $3 monthly service fee (no check images)
• Free debit card with unlimited ATM withdrawals
• First order of wallet checks is free

Regular Checking

A flexible, straightforward checking account for everyday needs.

• $4 monthly service charge for paper statements
• $0.10 debit item fee per transaction
• Earn $0.02 credit back for each $100 average collected balance
• All fees waived with eStatements
• Check images included with monthly statements

NOW Checking (Interest-Bearing over $1,000)

Ideal for customers who keep a higher average daily balance.

• Consumer checking accounts only (sole proprietors allowed)
• No LLCs, partnerships, or corporations
• Maintain $1,000 minimum daily balance to avoid fees
• If the balance falls below $1,000 on any day:
  • $10 service charge + $0.10 per debit item fee
• Bill Pay fees waived
• Check images included with statements

Century Checking (Interest-Bearing over $1,000)

A premium account with added benefits.

• Consumer accounts only
• $8 monthly service charge ($6 if age 55+)
• Free wallet checks
• Debit card fees waived
• Five free money orders per month
• Free 3x5 safe deposit box (based on availability)
• Monthly service charge waived with a combined $25,000 in total deposits and/or loans under the same Social Security number
• Check images included with monthly statements

Advantage Checking
